A/Z completed a series of major mechanical infrastructure upgrades to WestRock’s manufacturing facility in Uncasville, CT. The packaging solutions provider engaged A/Z to design and construction a utility plant expansion, install a packaged boiler system, and execute a seamless integration into the existing plant. In addition to leveraging A/Z’s design and construction management resources, the project also made use of our self-perform CSA, mechanical, and electrical capabilities. Alongside WestRock’s current operations, we erected the standalone plant expansion, installed mechanical and electrical systems, mounted the packaged boiler system, and brought the plant online without unplanned impacts to the site.
