SS&C Technologies engaged A/Z to design and implement renovations to the company’s corporate headquarters in Windsor, CT. A critical area of the project was the main lobby of the facility, which needed to be designed in order to quickly convey the company’s culture and branding to visitors to the facility and clients—as an international investment and financial software company, SS&C typically receives guests at this facility from all over the world. The team worked closely with SS&C to develop a detailed understanding of the goals and vision for this area. It was clearly that the headquarters’ lobby would need to be inviting, sophisticated, and informative while reinforcing SS&C branding as a state of the developer of financial cloud computing software. Our team focused on introducing color and texture into the lobby space, integrating engaging wayfinding signage, and ultimately representing the professional brand of this global financial institution.
