In collaboration with the Connecticut Municipal Electric Energy Cooperative (CMEEC), A/Z implemented a 10 MW microgrid energy solution at The William W. Backus Hospital. The installation, which consists of four generating units, was seamlessly installed and tied-in to the existing hospital infrastructure to provide a reliable source of electrical power independent of the local grid. Great collaboration with both representatives from the hospital and the local utility services provider were instrumental to the project’s success.
