Momentive Performance Materials built a new 125,000 sf office and laboratory center in upstate New York to support the manufacture of its specialty chemicals and materials. The design of the building includes dozens of chemistry laboratories for product development and testing, Class 10,000 clean room space, and a variety of offices and meeting areas. The company’s corporate image is displayed in the high level of finishes throughout the building – with brick masonry, terracotta, and zinc paneling mirroring the local architecture. A/Z provided preconstruction services for this project.
