At the Covanta SEMASS West Wareham, MA location, A/Z completed the power plant upgrades for this 84 MW power generating plant and resource recovery facility. Renovations included an ash plant renovation and upgrade where A/Z installed PVC coated conduit, power and control wiring, termination and testing of all systems. The project team managed the installation of a motor control center for power-to-ash conveyor drive motors as well as the installation of all electrical for the bottom ash removal system on three trash-to-energy boilers. A/Z installed electrical conduit, wire, motors, instrumentation, and lighting for the bag house upgrade at the refuse to energy plant. In support of the cooling tower, A/Z installed a motor control center and all instrumentation.
